Point of View

Something new. Point of view. Here is my point of view of the garden on a hazy September evening, dashing about to catch the light before it fades, foregoing dinner for a while longer to share the garden. Here's my point of view, without words this time, of the September, very very dry garden. I hope you enjoy.

Thank you for having a look, going on a walkabout through Chickadee Gardens with me. I simply wanted to share images this week, next time I have a friend's garden to share with you all.

As always, thanks for tuning in, and happy gardening one and all!

  1. The garden is fading gracefully into late summer. The Solidago 'Fireworks' and the red leaf rose are a fabulous pairing. 10th photo from the bottom what is the plant? I love the silvery edge to it's leaves.

    1. So poetically stated, thank you! The plant in question is Geranium renardii, a sun lover and a beauty for its foliage. Yes, the silvery edge is what got me! Great plant.

  2. Pretty as ever, despite the dry conditions. I hope you get some rain soon. I loved the POV in photo #4. I don't recall seeing your garden from that particular angle before.

    1. Sorry, dahlink - not this post. I'm sure there will be kitties in future posts. In fact, why don't you do a kitty post for us all?

  4. I don't comment often but as I was looking at your views I was remembering the "garden" when I first saw it as you were starting out. What a change - beautiful transformation.

  5. I like your point of view! Oh, and I bet it's not a dry garden this morning! We've already had almost an inch of rain, I hope you've gotten a good soaking as well.

    1. Thank you Danger! Indeed, NOT a dry garden this morning and we are SO relieved. I waited up until I heard the rain pitter pattering on the roof last night, so happy to awaken to a deluge.

I hope you got a good soaking too - an inch is noteworthy, me thinks.
